State College boys volleyball team captures D6 title

In another rematch with Altoona, the State College boys volleyball team had a chance to capture District 6 gold as the two did battle Tuesday.

In the end, it would be the Little Lions that came out victorious as they swept the Mountain Lions, 25-14, 25-14 and 26-24.

Leading the way for State College was Braden Kuruzovich with six aces, 23 assists and five digs.

Others making a statement for State College were Aaron Bruker (17 digs), Alex Marshall (ace, 6 kills,assist, 5 digs) and Jarod Leynes (7 kills, 4 digs).
