State College diving team sends group to next level

Results from the District 6 Diving Meet

The State College Men and Women divers competed in the District 6 Diving Championships Thursday at State College High School.

on the Women’s side, the Little Lions got a first from Samantha Hesser from State College High School with a score: 283.70, Sam will be competing at States after taking first at the meet. Sam also set a new pool 11 dive record.

On the Men’s side of the pool, Marcus Wheeler from State College High School notched a first place score: of 446.45, Marcus will be competing at the State Diving Meet after winning the district meet. Marcus set a new pool 11 dive record.

Right behind Wheeler was teammate Andy Ladrido, State College High School posting a second with a score of 425.35.

Rounding out the top three was teammate Dean Brannen, State College High School, with a score: 284.70.
