State College girls fall in close title tilt against Hershey

It was a nailbiter to the very end.

In the Mid-Penn Championship game, the State College girls lacrosse team fell just short as they lost to Hershey this evening in the title tilt by a score of Hershey 9 – SC 8.  The score at halftime was State College 5 – Hershey 4.

State College Was led by Lizzie Paterno (goal, 3 assists), Kaylee Schaeffer Hood (2 goals, assist),

Sydney O’Donnell (2 goals, 4 draw controls), Phebe Herlocher (2 goals), Leah Moyer (goal), Ariana Angus: (assist).

In goal Little Lions keeper Grace Jones finished with 5 saves.

Hershey Stats was led offensively by Caroline Glus (4 goals), Elle Pedaci ( 2 goals), Megan McDonald (goal), Katana Nelson: (goal) and Catie Reilly (goal).

Anne Bravacos finished with 7 saves.

State College moves to 14-2 on the season.
