State College girls fall late to Altoona

The State College girls basketball team rallied around one of their own Tuesday night.
The Little Lions held a Rally for Rudy Burress Game – to show support for Rudy’s fight against cancer. All wore blue and money was raised by the district to help Rudy in his fight.
However on the Court, The Lady Little Lions fell late 55-40 by their arch rival Altoona
The Little Lions went into the the final stanza leading 35-34
But Altoona started to sizzle and ended the contest 21-5 to take the victory.
Leading the offensive punch for State College Jordyn Steindl with 13.
