State College girls LAX opens week with win over Palmyra
Off to a great start to the week. The State College Girls Lacrosse team defeated Palmyra 6 – 3 this evening. The score at halftime was State College 4 – Palmyra 0.
Lizzie Paterno led way with a 3-goal and an assist performance.
Others showing their talents offensively on the night were Kaylee Schaeffer-Hood (goal, 2 assists, Leah Moyer (2 goals), Sydney O’ Donnell (assist, 3 draw controls), Clarre Porter (4 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers.)
In goal, Little Lions keeper Grace Jones had 14 saves.
Palmyra got goals from Katie Lintz, Morgan Lentz and Alicia Battistelli
State College moves to 13-1 on the season.
