State College rolls in win over CD

The State College Little Lions behind the running of D’Ante Sheffey’s 25 carry and 129 yards rushing performance took care of Central Dauphin Friday night. He also scored one on the ground and one receiving TD through the air.
State College’s quarterback Connor Kulka was accurate and to the point as he threw for 20-of-28 for 229 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the 41-13 victory over the Rams.
Keen Furmanek also had a rushing touchdown on the night.
With the win, the Lions improve to 5-1 on the year. Their only blemish was the overtime thriller against Harrisburg.
Both teams opened the game with first quarter touchdowns.
State College exploded in the second quarter to outscore the Rams 21-6.
When the two teams went into the intermission, State College held a 28-13 advantage.
In the second half, the State defense took over while its offense chugged along adding six points in the third and seven in the final stanza to take home the victory.
