The Lady Huskies win again; tops Chambersburg

Another night. Another win.

The Huskies girls basketball team continued its hot streak on the court as they defeated Chambersburg in a very defensive contest, 38-21.

MIfflin County’s defense had a strangle hold on the Chambersburg offense not allowing any double-digit scoring in any of the periods.

Kate Knable led the way for MIfflin County posting a 17-point effort while teammate Marissa Gingrich had 11.

In the first period, the Lady Huskies outshot their opponent 10-5.

Things continued to roll for MIfflin County as it outscored Chambersburg once again in the second by an 11-2 margin.

MIfflin County went into the intermission in fine fashion, leading 21-7.

Things were a little closer in the third as the two went toe-to-toe offensively before the Huskies eeked out a slim 10-8 advantage.

The same was to be said in the final period. The Lady Huskies held off Chambersburg once again, this time by an 7-6 margin.
