Three Divisions and Kids Money Scramble Highlight This Weekend’s Action at Port Royal Speedway

Port Royal Speedway- PORT ROYAL, PA- (August 4, 2022)- Port Royal Speedway returns to racing action this Saturday night, August 6th, with a three-division spectacular featuring the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars, the Krill Recycling, LLC Super Late Models and the PennsValley MeatMarket PA Sprint Series 305 Sprint Cars.

On top of the exciting racing action on the track, Pennian Bank will host a Kids Money Scramble on the track during intermission as well.

Gates Open at 4:00pm and racing is set to kick off at 7:00pm.

GA- $20, Students- $10, Pits- $30

In Weikert’s Livestock 410 action, last weekend saw a pair of first-time 2022 winners at the Speed Palace as Dylan Cisney and Danny Dietrich both picked up $6000 20-lap feature wins as part of the 16th Annual Living Legends Dream Race.

Logan Wagner still sits on top of the point standings as he looks for his fifth consecutive championship at the Speedway with his dad, Mike Wagner in second by 200 points. Jeff Halligan (-290),Dylan Cisney (-520) and Lucas Wolfe (-610) round out the top five.

Rick Eckert picked up his second Krill Recycling Super Late Model victory last weekend as well as part of the Dream race and the $5000 that went with it. However, the biggest news of the night was the continued bad-luck stretch of early season point leader Colton Flinner.

Flinner still holds the points lead, but saw his lead shrink to a mere 10 pint advantage over the ageless Gary Stuhler. Chad Myers (-505), Dylan Yoder (-650) and Jason Schmidt (-765) complete the top five.

The 305 Sprint Cars will compete in their fifth event of the season and point leader Garrett Bard will be looking for his third consecutive victory at the Speedway.

Doug Dodson(-15), Kenny Heffner (-35),Mike Alleman (-105) and Ken Duke (-115) round out the top five in point standings.
