Thursday result: MC girls tennis improves to 2-0

The MIfflin County Husky girls tennis team improve to 2-0 on the season with an impressive win over CD East 4-1 Thursday.

Leading the way was number one player Maddie Clinard. Clinard defeated Christa Hershman, 6-1, 6-1.

Second hitter Ava Kelly made it 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Autumn Kelly.

In number one doubles action, the duo of Delaynie Newlen/ Alexis Allen defeated Sabhya Chertri/Malaysia Cambot, 6-0, 6-1.

Rounding out the match in number two doubles, MIfflin County finished the win as Gladrielle Leonard/ Ellie Hartzler topped Lfatt Nashra/ Aidriana Pichardo, 6-0, 6-2.
