Tough night for Mount Union’s soccer team
Monday night was an off night for the Mount Union soccer team.
The group fell lost 10-0 against Fannett Metal. They scored five in the first half and five in the second. Before the game even started the Trojans lost two players due to injuries during warm ups and one player due to covid restrictions. Mount Union’s goalie tonight was Ryan Plank who had 21 saves. They only had five shots on goal. “All I can say is it’s only the third game of the season and I’m seeing vast improvement in the players but tonight was not our night,” said Mount Union coach Jacob Scott. “I had to make a lot of last minute player moves and had players playing where they never even thought of playing let alone practiced there.”
