Traffic and Parking Update for Saturday’s Game vs. Pittsburgh

Advanced sales for Pitt parking passes have been exhausted, fans without parking passes still have several game day options

 

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.— Fans attending Saturday’s Penn State vs. Pittsburgh game are advised to arrive early for the noon kick and #RunYourRoute as advanced-sale parking passes have been exhausted with a near-capacity crowd expected.

 

Due to an expected high volume of traffic for the noon kickoff, Penn State Athletics will open parking lots around the stadium at 6:30 a.m., which is 30 minutes earlier than originally advertised for noon games.

 

The one-way traffic pattern will go into effect at 8:30 a.m.Fans without a parking pass will not be permitted to enter the traffic pattern on game day.

 

Fans without parking permits are encouraged to use the following to travel to Beaver Stadium on the day of the game:

 

Fans planning on using on-campus decks should travel to the game using the West Zone.

 

Fans are also encouraged to use Penn State Athletics rideshare partner, Uber, to be transported to the game. Penn State and Uber have established pick up and drop off zones on Hastings Road with custom signage. The Uber zones have been integrated into the Uber app, so that riders and drivers will have precise directions on where to meet.

No. 13/11 Penn State and Pittsburgh meet on the gridiron for the 100th time Saturday in the fourth-and-final installment of the Keystone Classic presented by Peoples Natural Gas. The game will also be the Stripe Out. Fans are encouraged to visit pennstatestripeout.com to find out whether they should wear blue or white. The game is set to kick at noon on ABC.
