Two late MC goals leads FH team to clutch victory over Lewisburg

The MIfflin County field hockey team muscled out a tough 2-1 victory over a tough 2-1 contest Wednesday afternoon.

Hailee Sheetz posted a goal and an assist in the victory.

Lewisburg drew first blood as Maddy Moyers scored as she was assisted by Avery Mast in the first quarter.

Sheetz and company saved the best for last when she hit a goal in the fourth off an assist by Addie Fultz at the 13:32 mark.

Addie Fultz hit the game winner minutes later off an assist by Sheetz with 5:25 left in the contest.

Mifflin County goalie Sophie McCurdy finished with four saves.
