Upper Dauphin holds off Lady Indians

The Juniata girls fell in a very close Tri-Valley League battle against Upper Dauphin, 69-59 Wednesday night.
Leading the offense for the Lady Indians were Mackenzie Bennett and Olivia Clark with an 19-and18-point performance, respectively.
Upper Dauphin had five players all finish in double figures in the win.
UD opened the game outshooting Juniata in a high scoring first quarter 15-12.
They continued to keep up the pace, taking the second quarter as well, 16-14.
Juniata kept it close going into the half, trailing 31-26.
But Upper Dauphin continued to keep its scoring pace up as it outscored Juniata in the third. This time they outscored the Lady Indians 16-13.
Rounding out the contest, Upper Dauphin ended the contest as it poured in 22 while Juniata had 20, giving UD the victory.
