Williamsport tennis tops Central Mountain in 3-2 contest
The Central Mountain tennis team lost a heartbreaker to Williamsport Monday 3-2.
Central Mountain opened up strong at number one as David Lindsay defeated Kyle Shuler 6-2 and 6-0.
Williamsport tied things at one as Alex Norris topped Ethan Hall. 6-2 and 6-2.
The Millionaires’ Zach Lake defeated Jackson Walker 6-2 and 7-5 taking a 2-1 advantage.
In doubles action, Williamsport won the match when the team of Evan Beiter/Hemberth Pena-Vasquez got the better of Nate Brinker/Leisher Gugino 6-0 and 6-2.
Central Mountain took the final match of the day when Asher Talbot/Lucas Porter defeated Abheet Sarker/Ben Manetta1-6, 7-6 and 10-6.
