Yoder: Final HWF Show of the Year Ends With a Bang!

By Joshua Yoder
LEWISTOWN – Arguably the biggest show that the wrestlers of the HWF have ever had delivered in so more ways than the people of Lewistown Pennsylvania could possibly have ever imagined.
The event featured two of the biggest stars in the pro wrestling industry today in the form of the Big LG Doc Gallows and the Machine Gun Karl Anderson, better known as the Good Brothers.
Prior to the show the Good Brothers were greeting the fans of the HWF and went on record to comment on how excited and appreciative they were to be with the fans and wanted to put smiles on the fans’ faces.
The same could not be said for Jason Havoc who appeared during the show and began bragging about how he defeated Trista and demanded the fans to appreciate him as the owner of the company.
Suddenly, an individual wearing a clown mask walked into the ring. Havoc then ordered the mask man to take off his mask which the man did, revealing himself to be the President of Wrestling himself Phil Stamper much to the dismay of Havoc.
Stamper reminded Havoc that he was not his boss and that he wasn’t going to allow Havoc to get away with what he did to Trista and the people of the HWF.
Havoc wasn’t done spoiling things for the fans as during the Main Event of the evening. The Sons of Mifflin County were defending their HWF Tag Team titles against the earlier mentioned Good Brothers.
The expectations for this match were extremely high, but only did it meet the expectations, they were utterly shattered.
The Good Brothers quickly took control of the match showing why they are one of the best tag teams in the business today. Using quick tags and finding their target to isolate and wear down.
But to the Sons’ credit, they met the challenges head on and started to fire back on the Good Brothers. Unfortunately, Havoc and his goon squad stormed the ring and began an assault on the two teams ruining the main event which ended in a no contest.
Suddenly, Robnoxious made his surprise return to the HWF which caused a distraction allowing both the SOMC and the Good Brothers to regroup and turn the tide and made good on their promise to making the fans smile as they got to witness some Magic Killer to the many members of Havoc’s entourage.
After the match, Gallows talked about how thankful he was to be back in PA as he got his start in the business competing in PA. Anderson also talked about being appreciative to the fans for allowing them to come to a smalltown like Lewistown, Pa and compete against some of the HWF’s finest.
That wasn’t the only big time match during the show as a grudge match between two bitter rivals in Ace Connel and Big Philly. This rivalry has gotten so hot between it even went as far as Philly attacking Ace in his local church.
The match itself was very intense with Ace looking to stay away from the size and strength advantage that Big Philly has on him. At one point, it looked as though Connel was going to pull out with the win. However, Philly had torn off the turnbuckle pad which the official went to fix it. Meanwhile Ace had Philly in a crossface submission hold but again the ref was distracted. A few moments later, Big Philly caught Ace with a chokeslam and came out the winner.
Speaking of intense rivalries, prior to the show, the Pit Chick Dani Lahr had called out Keeley Capri on a local talk show demanding for another go around. Pit Chick got her wish and two once again did battle. Lahr had the momentum late into the match, catching Capri into the corner. Pit Chick then looked to complete a bulldog maneuver from the corner but was reversed out of nowhere by Capri which ended up giving her the victory.
Early on in the show, there was a clown appearance. But it was not the only time that had happened as during a triple threat match for the HWF Xtreme Championship. Arawn Conners and Lestat were looking to dethrone Isaiah Frazier of the title. But as the match wore on, a pair of scary clowns jumped the ring and attacked Conners which allowed Frazier to retain the title.
It wouldn’t be much of a Halloween show if there wasn’t some blood and gore and the next match was certainly that as Draven Blaze went one on one with SOMC member Edward James in a Bullrope Match.
Despite the fact that both men were tied to the bullrope, the match went all over the arena. James had the upper hand as he had Blaze in a submission hold, that was until Ayden Blaze and the Joseph Jordan jumped the ring and attacked James. This forced an injured, Emberly Rae who came out to aid Edward. But things took a scary turn for the SOMC member as Draven and James were fighting on the outside, Draven caught James in a Package Piledriver onto the concrete which led to the pinfall.
After the match, Rae called out Draven, saying that he can not beat James without the help and demanded a match for the next show. Draven agreed only on one condition, if he wins, he gets Rae for himself. Who knows what will happen next?
A very special moment happened during the show, long time fan favorite Ed House was looking to become the new HWF Heavyweight champion going up against John Rodin. However, as the two were getting ready for their match, it was discovered that Rodin had injured James Ford which was why Ford could not be at the show. As punishment, Rodin was not having to face, not one, but two challenges as Sledge Gibson was given an opportunity to win the gold much to the disgust of the champion.
Like a lot of triple threat matches, things were all over the place as neither Sledge, House or Rodin were able to maintain control of the match. Rodin continued to show his frustrations and brought in a chair and blasted Gibson with it. He then turned his attention to House looking to do the same.
Only this time, House ducked and forced Rodin to drop the chair before planting Rodin head first onto the chair and became the new HWF Heavyweight champion.
What a way for the HWF to close out 2025! Who knows what will be in store for 2026.
