Yoder: Penn State seasons have come to an end

By Joshua Yoder
Unfortunately Penn State fans, the Nittany Lions have been eliminated in both Men’s Lacrosse as well Baseball this past weekend.
In Men’s Lacrosse, the Nittany Lions gave the number one seeded Cornell everything they have, but it wasn’t enough as they fell just short by the final score of 11-9 in the semi finals of the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse tournament.
Liam Matthews led the way for Penn State scoring four of the nine goals for the match. Matt Traynor added two goals for the Nittany Lions.
The baseball season has also come to an end for Penn State as they were defeated by Nebraska by the final score of 6-3.
Paxton Kling went 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and a double. Matt Maloney also had a multi-hit day at the plate for the Nittany Lions going 2-for-4 with an RBI which was from a home run. Jesse Jaconski also had a solo homer.
Congrats to both teams for an incredible season!
Until Next Time!
