Juniata falls to Susquenita in track action

It was a tough loss for the Juniata boys track and field team losing 88-62 and girls only scoring 35 points to Susquenita.
“We had some really strong performance tonight,” said Juniata coach Maisie Aumiller.Jasper Shepps won the 110hurdles , the 300h, and the high jump.
Tayden Miller won the pole vault with 11’ and placing second in the high jump . Wyatt Stroup took 1st in both the 1600-meter run and 3200-meter with teammate Joey Bomberger finishing second in both behind Wyatt . Connor Boreman won the 100-meter dash and Heath Hutchinson took second in the 110-meter hurdles.

Overall, I am proud of how our boys teamed performed,”

said Aumiller. “We unfortunately just fell short in a few events and lost to a tough team.

On the girls side Sylvia Brubaker won the 1600 and Amelia Smith took second in the 100h . Mariska Beward had a great day taking first in Javelin . “We have another hard day tomorrow as we go against Greenwood,” said Aumiller.
