ARCHIVES: S.C. Dominates Big Valley Invitational
The Big Valley Invitation is a fall sports season tradition. It has become the season opener for the cross country schedule. Teams come from all over the state to the Reedsville course to take on the best of the best in the harriers sport.
Mifflin County hosted and represented the event and played host to teams like State College, Bellefonte, Bellwood-Antis, Philipsburg, Penns Valley, Altoona, among others.
This year, like in most, it was the State College cross-country team that would dominate the AAA Division. Mifflin County also had a strong showing while the other Centre County teams finished in good standing.
Here are some Centre County highlights from the event.
