Bald Eagle girls finish the season with a win over PO

Winding out the season with the “W”!

The Bald Eagle girls soccer team wound down their 2020 campaign with a 8-0 victory of Mountain League foe Philipsburg-Osceola Saturday.

Bald Eagle got its scoring started as Falen McHenry picked up a pass from Heather Leskovansky at 8:41, to take the lead.

McHenry put her team up by two off of a pass from Alex Hacker at 16:16.

Keeping the ball rolling foe the Lady Eagles was Heather Leskovansky as she caught a pass from Katie Snyder and sent it home at 20:32. Leskovansky added her second goal as she got a pass from another two goal scorer in  McHenry at 22:50.

Grace Wagner (Anna Cingle) 30:32,

Heather Leskovansky, who posted the hat trick, scored off another McHenry assist at 51:10.

McHenry added her name to the hat trick list thanks to a pass from Alex Hacker at 55:45.

Rounding out the scoring was an unassisted goal by Sarah Holler on a penalty kick at 77:59.

Bald Eagle won the corners by a 6-0 margin while picking up 26 shots on goal.

Picking up two saves for Bald Eagle was Mackenzie Vozniak.

“The girls really kept possession well today. We hit our passes and found some great looks and finished our shots,” said Bald Eagle coach Jared Moore. “Falen McHenry and Heather Leskovansky led the offense today with hat tricks and our midfield was able to dictate quite a bit of the pace today and be creative with their passes.”

With the win, the Lady Eagles finish the season with a record of 9-4-2 overall and 7-4-2 Mountain League
