Saturday at Penns Valley Dual Meet Championships = Awesome! Considering the weather, Bellefonte came ready to race. Both Varsity programs finished 2nd in the conference!

Our girls varsity had the first go on the muddy Penns Valley course. Central Cambria definitely was strong through the whole race, but the real competitive race was for second in the conference. Our girls came and got the job done with our team members finishing in this order:

Emma Raish 10th 21:44, Natalie Jolley 11th 21:47, Emma Liadis 14th 22:10, Alyssa Hopkins 18th 22:58, Emma Burger 20th 23:06, Anna Tyson 21st 23:13, Victoria Schellenberg 25th 24:01, Ashleigh Aukerman 28th 24:43, Alexis Fravel 36th 26:53 and Josie Underwood 39th 28:13. Amazing job girls!

Bellefonte boys ran up against Central Cambria for the top spot. We got second to them, but they all showed that their hungry and want to keep doing better. That’s why I’m really excited for districts! The never give up attitude.

Congratulations and big shout out to Alex Crist on his win on Saturday! He took the lead and kept extending it. Crist was first overall and finished with a time of 17:11. Caleb Vinnedge was next in 7th 18:21, Alex Mansfield 8th 18:46, Keith Eicholtz 9th 18:46, Elijah Davis 11th 19:21, Maverick Muchmore 12th 19:27, Jacob Showers 19th 20:27, Isaiah Johnson 22nd 20:59 and Ethan Wison 24th 22:02. Great job boys!

They all truly showed their strength and I’m excited for the rest of the postseason!
