Bellefonte XC Races at the Ridgway Invitational

Courtesy of Chad Wiley Our team spent the morning competing at the Ridgway invitational on a beautiful fall Saturday. The course was great and we were welcomed right away from other teams. We have had a lot of tougher terrain courses this season, so it was nice to have the team compete on a more flat course. Going against different competitors is always a nice boost too.

Both our varsity teams had great races across the board. The Boys overall placed 2nd 🥈with 107 points, finishing the behind Brookville who won the team invitational title with 90 points. Our Girls placed 3rd 🥉 overall with 113 points behind second place DuBois 80 points and champion Elk County Catholic 39 points.

Individual results for the girls, Emma Liadis took 12th overall with a PR (personal best) of 21:33. Teammate Natalie Jolley also earned herself a PR 21:53 by running with Liadis.
