Dressler reaches 1,000-point Mark; EJ still falls to Millersburg
On a night where East Juniata player Wayne Dressler eclipsed the 1,000-point mark, the Tigers boys basketball team battled tough but fell to Millersburg 61-49.
Leading the offensive charge for East Juniata was Tanner Barth with 19 points.
Dressler had a strong night from the field topping out at 18 points.
Millersburg took the opening period as it outscored East Juniata 22-16.
The Tigers and Millersburg both scored 10 apiece in the period.
Going into the intermission, East Juniata trailed 32-26.
Going into the third, Millersburg bounced back and outscored the Tigers 16-6, going up 48-36.
East Juniata mounted a comeback attempt in the fourth, but it wasn’t quite enough as the Tigers fell 61-49.
