EJ girls demolish Halifax in TVL match up

Today was a good day.

If you are a member of the East Juniata girls basketball team that is.

Friday night, the Lady Tigers dominated their competition defeating Halifax 61-26.

Leading the offensive charge was Carly Beaver with a game-high 16 points.

Teammates Alyssa Robinson and Cypress Feldman finished with 12-point and 11-point efforts from the field.

East Juniata led after one period, 10-4.

In the period, EJ was led by Beaver’s six points.

The domination continued into the second when the Tigers posted a 20-6 performance to extend the scoring at the half to 30-10.

Blazing hot on the boards were Feltman and Robinson who both netted six.

East Juniata added another 16 in the third to break the game wide open.

Its defense kept Halifax to only nine.

After another strong fourth quarter, the Tigers could celebrate their 35-point victory as they head into the winter break.
