Lady Rams’ offense too much for Red Raiders

Penns Valley has it’s A-game going Friday night as it defeated Bellefonte 69-30.

The Rams got a 17-point performance from Hannah Montminy and a 14-point performer by Bella Culver. Rounding out the double-digit shooters was Emma Butler with 10.

Maddie Tice led the Red Raiders with a 10-point effort.

Penns Valley exploded for 24 points in the first quarter while Bellefonte was held to just five. Tice roped a triple for her team while Penns Valley was led by Montminy’s eight.

The Red Raiders battled back in the second and were only outscored 14-10.

However, going into the intermission Penns Valley held a 38-15 advantage.

Offensively, the Rams once again came out sizzling, posting 21 points while the Lady Raiders tallied 11.

In the quarter, Tice had seven point to pace Bellefonte while the Rams got six from Culver.

In the final stanza, the Rams put the game away by holding the Red Raiders to just five points while its offense tossed in 10 for the victory.
