EJ hurdler Book Breaks School Records
Hurdling against the top two jumpers in the state at the Roddick Invitational in Shippensburg, Saturday, East Juniata runner Josef Book came out with a 3rd place finish in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 39.25. The finishing time broke a previous school record of 39.32 set by him last year.
In the 110-Meyer hurdles he came out with a 8th place finish with a time of 15.05.
At the Susquenita meet on Tuesday, he ran the 110-hurdles with a time of 14.40 breaking the school record of 14.87 at East Juniata. With these times, Josef is currently 7th in the state in both events.
