Elizabeth Gaisior struck out 18 batters as the left-handed pitcher led Juniata Varsity Indians past loyalsock lancers 4-2 on Thursday. Gaisior allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings while walking one.
The Indians got on the board in the first inning after a steal of home scored one run.
Sophia Miller took the loss for Loyalsock. The starting pitcher went five innings, allowing three runs on 10 hits, striking out six and walking two.
