Harris shines at US track and field championships
Braden Harris of the Juniata Valley Striders just won the US Track & Field Youth National Championship in the 1500 meters running 4:18.26 beating Pacific Coast Shock Wave’s, Alex Manvielle from California he had placed second to Manvielle in the 3000 meters on Friday night with a 9:29.23 time. Braden’s times are extra special trying to train in the northeast winter then facing southern and western competition. Running with coach, Jeff Miller, he has had a great winter of competition training in less than ideal conditions. Braden will be a freshman for Mifflin County High School next fall.
