Juniata boys blasts Susquenita

It was an offensive explosion for the Juniata boys soccer team as they blasted Susquenita 7-2 Tuesday afternoon.

Avery Portzline lead the scoring in the contest, posting a hat trick.

Susquenita got off to a quick

2-0 advantage as they posted goals at 33:18 and 31:00.

However, at the 26:00 mark Juniata posted their first goal of the game. It would be scored by Avery Portzline off of an assist by Ricky Guante.

Less than two minutes later, the Indians tied the contest. At 24:18 , Anthony Maradiaga scored via an assist by Ricky Guante.

With the clock winding down under 10 minutes, Juniata took its first lead of the game. At 8:13, Juniata scored a Mason Beward goal thanks to an assist by Anthony Maradiaga.

In the second half, the momentum was all in Juniata’s corner.

It took to just less than eight minutes for the Indians to score. Maradiaga scored his second goal of the game thanks to an assist by Avery Portzline.

At 22:10  and 18:00 – Avery Portzline; added his last two goals en route to the victory.

Posting the last goal of the game was Juniata’s Anderson Portzline off an assist by Ricky Guante.

In the Shots on Goal department Juniata led 22-9.

Susquenita  led in corner opportunities by a 9-5 margin.

The Black Hawks led in keeper saves 18-10.
