Juniata girls improves to 6-2 with win against Greenwood

It was a strong start to the week for the Juniata girls basketball team Monday, topping Greenwood 49-33 in TVAA action.

Leading the scoring for Juniata was Haley Mummah with 15. Teammate Regan Lowrey finished with 13 while Mariska Beward rounded out things with eight.

Greenwood was led by Sophie Myers’ 15 while teammates Bekah Brinser and Leah Ritzman eight.

With the win, the Lady Improves to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in Tri-Vallwy action.

Next up for the Lady I Diana will be against Upper Dauphin at Juniata Thursday, 12/21 at 7:30.
