Juniata girls pick up comeback win over Millersburg
Feisty in the final stanza.
The Juniata girls basketball team found itself trailing going into the fourth quarter against Millersburg Friday.
But a 15-8 run in the period turned “the agony of defeat” to the thrill of victory as the Lady Indians came back to notch the win, 42-38.
Juniata was outscored in every quarter with the exception being the fourth when they needed it the most.
Leading the offensive scoring on the evening was MacKenzie Bennett who finished with a game-high 15 points.
Her teammate Ava Shearer followed up with 12 en route to the victory.
