Juniata matmen fall to tough Altoona team

The Juniata Wrestling team went up against a tough Altoona team Wednesday. In the end, the Mountain Lions came out on top of a 56-17 non-league win.
Picking up wins for the Indians were Taylor Smith (126), Jonathan Kauffman (215) and Casey Smith (120).
The night started out at 126. Juniata notched the first win of the night when Smith pinned Jordan Carlucci at 4:38.
Kauffman notched the next win for Juniata at 215 as he pinned Alex Yost at 3:12.
Rounding out the day at 120, Smith won by tech fall at 19-3 at 3:01 over Eli Wisor.
