Juniata matmen fall to upper Dauphin

The Juniata wrestling team fell Wednesday night to Upper Dauphin at home 48-27.

Juniata’s Achilles heel on the night was forfeits as the Indians had four on the night, giving Upper Dauphin 24 easy points.

The Indians picked up five victories on the night.

Starting the winning off was 160-pounder Joey Bomberger as he defeated Collin Dreibelbis by a decision of 7-2.

At 215, Jonathan  Kauffman picked up an easy win notching a forfeit.

Casey Smith, at 120 pinned Jonah Peterson at 5:35.

In the light weight class, 126-pounder Taylor Smith also notched a forfeit win.

Rounding out the winners for Juniata was Daniel Painter who defeated Jordan Zerby at 130.
