Juniata tennis falls to Hollidaysburg in opener
The Juniata tennis team opened its 2022 campaign against a veteran Hollidaysburg team.
Unfortunately for the Indians, the Tigers proved too much winning 4-1.
In first singles, Hollidaysburg’s Nathan Barton defeated Gavin Kint in straight sets 6-2 and 6-0.
Juniata countered in match number two when Max Lauver outmuscled Jadd Younes 6-3,2-6,10-8.
In the final singles match, the Tigers’ Ben Johnson won a close 6-4, 6-3 contest against Juniata’s Adam French.
In doubles action, Hollidaysburg swept both teams en route to the victory.
