Juniata tops Bald Eagle in Road XC contest

The Juniata Cross Country team competed against Bald Eagle on Thursday, September 5 at Bald Eagle.  The boys won 15 to 50.  Senior Garrett Baublitz lead the way for the Indians and won the overall with a time of 18:13. He was followex by:

James Hazard – 3rd – 20:38
Brody Powell – 4th – 20:49
Isaak Fausey – 5th – 21:24
Will Tyson – 6st – 22:02
Micah Fausey – 7th – 22:06
Tim Kelly – 9th – 24:03
Noah Sheaffer – 10th – 24:33
Kaleb Louder – 14 – 31:07
On the girls side, neither school had enough runners to score.  Juniata had three runners who competed.  They were Julia Burns – 3rd – 32:42, Katie Hart – 4th – 35:46, and Joceline Tefler – 5th – 43:46
The team’s next meet will be on Saturday, September 14at Ben Bloser Invitational at Big Springs High School in Newville.
