Juniata Valley Striders have strong showing at Central Pa. Championships

Juniata Valley Striders Youth Running Club recently competed in the Central Pennsylvania Track & Field Championships at State College. 

In the 11-12 year old 1500-meter run Hoyt Rodenbaugh finished fifth with a time of 6:13 while Aiden Savetti finished 6th with 6:29.

Rodenbaugh and Savetti placed fourth and fifth, respectively in the 800-meter run with times of 2:54 and 2:56.

Rounding out the finishers was Camryn Treaster with an 8th place time of 3:04.

Treaster also placed first in the 400 with a winning time of 1:09.70.

 Teammate Wyatt Stroup finished 3rd in the 13-14-year old 1500 with a time of 5:10.

Stroup also finished third in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:05.16.

In the 11-12 100-meter dash Collin Otero finished 20th with a time of 17.78.

In the 200, Otero finished 13th with a mark of 39.40.

Keegan Prendergast  finished 7th in the 13-14 group’s 800- meter run with a time of 2:59.

15-16 800  girls division, Maggie Rodenbaugh placed 7th with a time 3:39.

In the 7-8s group, Grayden Cunningham finished 2nd in the 400 and 11th in 200 with times of 1:25.08 and 1:25.08.
