Juniata wrestlers fall in nail biter versus Line Mointain

Wednesday night the Juniata wrestling team found itself in a battle against Line Mountain in TVAA action. In the end, Line Mountain outlasted the Indians 36.0-30.0.

Winners for Juniata were

At 189, Harrison Mummah took an 11-6 win over Maxim Johnson.

Continuing things at 215, Juniata’s Kelton Bonnell muscled out hard fought 6-3 decision over Jacob Schwalm.

285-pounder, Lane Peiper picked up another hard fought three points as he won over Jaroslav Johnson 3-2.

In the lighter weights, 107-pound matman Mason Beward won by forfeit.

Juniata got back in the win column at 127 pounds when Coy Kerstetter pinned Waylon Shaffer at 2:12.

At 133, Colten Rowles pinned Dane Laky at 2:34.

Rounding out the winners at 145, Ryder Smith escaped with a 3-2 decision over Ethan Lenker.
