Juniata’s defense continues to shine, tops Newport

The Juniata girls basketball team continue its strong defensive play, winning its fifth in-a-row, topping Newport 49-19.

Leading the defense for the Lady Indians was a Great defensive effort by Haley Mummah.

Juniata’s Ava Shearer finished with 14 points. Regan Lowrey added nine while Grace Reinhold and Mylee Landis both finished with eight.

Rounding out the leading scorers was Mummah with six.

Next vs St Joe, Thursday 12/14 at 7:30 PM.
