Lady Huskies falls to tough Mechanicsburg squad

It was a tough night for the MIfflin County girls basketball team Friday night as they fell to Mechanicsburg, falling 72-40 on the road.

Offensively, the Lady Huskies were led by Mackenzie Peachey with 18 points.

Amelia Leister followed with an eight point night.

In JV action, the Lady Huskies also fell short, losing 56-28.

Leading the way for MC were Payton Weaver and Jayda Kanagy both with nine.
