Late Monday action: MC volleyball falls to Cedar Cliff
Mifflin County vs. Cedar Cliff (0-3) The Huskies Volleyball team lost tonight to Cedar Cliff on Monday night.
Mifflin County started off strong in the first set and had the lead in the beginning.
“There were some “hiccups” that occurred which challenged the Lady Huskies during the entire match,” said Mifflin County coach Jill Zeger.
The calls were rather tight throughout the match which made it difficult for Huskies to find a good rhythm.
“Overall, I thought the girls played well and showed some strength out on the court,” Zeger said. Jenna Snyder finished the contest with one kill, one dig, five assists and three service points. Teammate Chloe Benner had 3 digs and one service point Others that had strong games were Shania Teenie with two kills, one dig, a service point with 1 Ace, Demma Franklin had two service points also with an Ace, Kierra Imler finished with two kills, four service points with an Ace. Defensively, Bryn Ferguson collected two solo block while Hailee Weader tallied four digs and two service points. Rounding out the scoring was Eden Parks with one kill, one dig and one solo block.
