MC baseball’s Cherry, Bailey to be featured on WMRF to promote local Home Run derby
Two Mifflin County High School varsity baseball players, Rylan Bailey and Connor Cherry, are hosting a Home Run Derby as part of their senior project. Rain forced its postponement so they’re going to give it another shot on Sunday, April 11.
Listen in on Merf Radio, Wednesday, April 7, at 8:35, as Rylan and Connor talk about their event.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 11th at the Burnham Baseball Field. Start time is 2pm and there are 4 age groups:
8-10 years olds (2-3 p.m.)
11-12 years olds (3-4 p.m.)
13-15 years olds (4-5 p.m.)
16 and up (starts at 5 p.m.)
This derby is ‘bring your own pitcher.’ All registrations are day-of and cost $15 with proceeds benefitting local travel teams (Mifflin County Eagles and Jack’s Mountain).
