MC boys lose heartbreaker in Friday home action

The Huskies lost a heartbreaker at home, falling 39-37 to Cedar Cliff at home.

The boys fought valiantly, but were unable to hold off the Colts, who rallied in the second half to get their second-straight win. Cedar Cliff senior Sam Grube led all scorers with 27 points.

The Huskies were led by senior Jayden Bilger and junior Aidan Attivo, who both scored 10.

The JV Huskies got their 3rd win of the season, winning a thriller 44-43 over Cedar Cliff. 

Freshman Carson Franklin hit 2 clutch free throws to help get the boys the win. Franklin and sophomore Chase Hartung led the way with 13 points each. 

The Varsity team sits at 5-3 on the season and 2-2 in the Mid-Penn Keystone division. The boys will be back in action on December 27, when they host Central Mountain as part of the Justin Henry Scholarship Trust Holiday Tournament. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
