MC golfers finish second at LCC

The Mifflin County golf team competed at home today at Lewistown Country Club. The Huskies finished 2nd place overall, 1 shot behind Mechanicsburg for 1st place.
MC was led on the day by Evan Breon, who shot a career best score of 78 which was good to earn medalist honors. (1st place overall).
Colby Seiler and Jackson Flood both fired an 81, which was good for a tie for 4th place overall.
Jace Rishell rounded out the scoring with an 89, which was good for 19th place overall. Our team total of 329 today was the best score of our season, and the best team score we have had in my 12 years of coaching.
MC went 5-1 on the day, and now stands at 16-8 overall and 16-8 in the Mid Penn Keystone division. Mifflin County is back in action on Thursday 8/29at LCC when we host East Juniata, Newport, and Millersburg.
The MC girls golf team also competed today at LCC. Emma Norman fired a personal best 115, which was good for 7th overall, and Lily Breon shot a 122 which was good for 11th place overall. MC girls are back in action on 9/4 at Mayapple golf course in Carlisle.
