MC Junior high girls start off strong with wins over CD

The Mifflin County junior high girls basketball teams got off to a great start on Monday at Central Dauphin.

The varsity team defeated CD 30-23. Layla Fetzer led the way in scoring with 10 points, and Lilly Curry added 6 points. In the JV game, Mifflin County won 29-12. Olivia Bedlyon was the high scorer with 12 points, while Gracie Kerstetter finished with 8 points.

Both Mifflin County teams return to the court Wednesday as they host Hershey at Mifflin County Junior High School.
