MC Junior high squad defeats Steelton in girls’ basketball action

The Mifflin County junior high varsity girls’ basketball team was victorious over Steelton-Highspire on Thursday by a score of 27-8. Lily Curry led the way in scoring with 8 points and added 3 assists and 3 steals. Allison Renninger scored 6 points and had 3 rebounds. Regan Kenepp chipped in with 5 points and a team-high 11 rebounds. With the win, the team moves to 13-4 on the season. There was no JV game. Both Mifflin County teams return to action on Monday as they travel to Park Forest.
