MC Junior High squads split against Park Forest

The Mifflin County junior high girls’ basketball teams traveled to Park Forest on Wednesday and split two highly-competitive games.
In the varsity game, the Lady Huskies earned a hard-fought 26-21 victory. Layla Fetzer led the way in scoring with 9 points. Lily Curry added 7 points, including a near half-court buzzer-beating three pointer to end the third quarter. Regan Kenepp scored 6 points. With the win, the team moves to 14-4 on the season.
In JV action, Mifflin County fell 35-28. Olivia Bedlyon was the high scorer with a game-high 16 points, and Kennedy Pinder added 4 points. The team is now 9-6 on the season.
Both Mifflin County teams will host Central Dauphin on Tuesday.
