Mifflin County 12U All Stars Grabs Lead in Fourth Inning to Defeat Big Spring

Mifflin County 12U All Stars took the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Big Spring on Saturday afternoon.

Liam Shaffer was on the hill for Mifflin County. The pitcher lasted one and one-third innings, allowing three hits and four runs while striking out three. Gatlin Kauffman and Colton Aumiller worked out of the bill pen. They combined for 1 earned run in 4.2 innings of work.

Mifflin County smacked one home run on the day. Jaxon Strohecker put one out in the first inning.

Kooper Walters led Mifflin County with two hits in two at bats. Aumiller had an RBI double. Jude Zook and Luke Shawver added RBI singles. Jett Powell drove in a run with a sacrifice fly. Noah Wray added a single late in the contest.
