Mifflin County boys fall late to CM in a nail biter
The Huskies battled to the end.
However, the Huskies boys soccer team fell to Central Mountain 4-3.
Mifflin County’s Jace Bagrosky found the net at 1:24 before the half to answer an earlier Central Mountain goal.
Mifflin County went down two goals to start the second half but, we continued to work hard and did not give up. Joel Beamer scored off a nice Henry Rivas cross. Then, Dreyson Weaver and his great runs and pressure got them back to 3-3 with 7 minutes left. Unfortunately, the visitors snuck one in with 5 minutes left. The Huskies had some crossing opportunities and a late shot that just went wide to take us to the 4-3 final. The Huskies coaching staff loved the fight of their players for all 80 minutes.
