Mifflin County Girls top Red Land
The MIfflin County Girls were involved in a defensive battle Tuesday afternoon.
The girls came out victorious defeating Red Land 2-1.
Aubrey Strohecker led the offensively posting both Mifflin County goals.
Strohecker got the Lady Huskies on the board thanks to a Sarah Henry assist at 23:08.
Strohecker went one-on-one with the with Red Land goalie RL Kennedy O’Brein on a penalty kick at 29:41.
Red Land scored its goal late on a Anna Midock goal at 63:39.
Red Land outshot Mifflin county 7-6 and led in corners by a 7-2 margin.
In the Saves department MC’s Bailey McNitt had six.
Red Lands Kennedy O’Brein had four.
The Huskies Final Record was 6-11-1 in Mid-Penn action and overall 1-8-1.
