Mifflin County golfers finish fifth at Valley Green

The MIfflin County golf team competed today at Valley Green Golf Course, home of Cedar Cliff. MC finished 5th on the day beating Bishop McDevitt and Cedar Cliff, but losing to Mechanicsburg, Red Land, Carlisle, and Palmyra. The Huskies was lead on the day by Jackson Flood who shot a season low 81,which was tied for 5th place overall.

Right behind him was Colby Seiler who shot 82, which was good for a tie for 7th place. Rounding out the scoring for MIfflin County were Jace Rishel with a 93, and Evan Breon with a 93. Reese Hine also shot a 93, which was his low score of the season.

Mifflin County is now 14-24 on the season overall, and 13-23 in the Mid Penn Keystone Division. MC is back in action on Tuesday 9/19 at District 6 AAA sectionals at Sinking Valley CC in Altoona.
