Mifflin County Tomahawks celebrate season opening win

Despite battling through sleet, freezing rain and heavy winds as well as the Coal County Nightmare in their season opener Saturday at the team’s new home at the Burnham Bulldog’s Special Needs Football Field at Derry Park the MIfflin County Tomahawks were ready for action.

The day was a muddy one but successful as the Tomahawks sludges through to a 38-26 victory.
